Khao Luang Sukhothai is the highest peak in Sukhothai Province at 1,200 meters above sea level. It consists of 4 peaks: Khao Chedi Peak, Khao Phra Mae Ya Peak, Khao Phu Ka Peak, and Khao Narai Peak. It is a forest with beautiful views and amazing sea of ​​fog. The hiking distance is not far. There are facilities on the mountain with bathrooms/showers and a small minimar.

Khao Luang Sukhothai is hiking route recommended for beginners.

Itinerary details:

Day 0 - Travel Day (By 9-Sit VIP Van) 

7:30 PM Meet at Lotus Ladprao (BTS Ha Yaek Ladprao, Exit 4) at the outdoor parking lot.

8:00 PM Depart for Chong Mek, Ubon Ratchathani

Day 1 - Up Hill & 4 Hill tops (Tent Accommodation)

6.00 am: Getting ready & breakfast (On own expense)

07.00 am: Pack all belongings

08.00 am: Start a trek to Kao Luang Sukhothai, steep path taking about 3-4 hours to reach the campsite.

12.00 am: Lunch stop en route (1st meal), then continue with easy trek (no rush)

13.00 pm. Arrive at the campsite, setting up tent and time at leisure before sunset trek.

15.00 pm: Start sunset trek from one hill top over another of the 4 hill tops, from Phra Khao Chedi peak, Khao Phra Mae Ya, Khao Phukha and Khao Narai. 

19.00 pm. Dinner at campsite (2nd meal) - After dinner, get to know each other in our hiking group. Then, time to rest. (Restroom & shower room available at campsite)

Day 2 - Yod Kao Narai Sunrise & Down Hill

05.00 am: Wake up early to catch the sunrise at Yod Kao Narai

08.00 am: Breakfast at campsite (3rd meal) then pakcing all belongings to walk back.

11.00 am: Arrive at the national park, take a shower and get changed.

12.00 am: Transfer back, stop by for lunch (on own expense) at Sukhothai town before heading back to Bangkok.

18.00 pm. Stop for dinner en route at Nakorn Sawan province (on own expenses)

21.00 pm: Arrive back safely in Bangkok.

- Clothing: Hiking shirts, sports shirts or shirts that wick away sweat, hiking pants, stretch pants.
- Pack your belongings in a waterproof backpack.
- Hiking/trekking shoes, sneakers with rubber sole, and casual shoes ( e.g. sandals for changing at campground)
- Personal medicine/insect repellent/mineral salt
- Flashlight/powerbank/charger cable
