Privacy Policy
This notice sets out how the company treats the information of customers and of anyone who visits or registers on the company website.
Contacting customers
We contact you only through the Facebook page Klukfoontour – Klukfoontour Thailand, LINE @klukfoontour and by telephone. We will normally try the Facebook page and the LINE Official account first. Where we write by email, the subject line always states why we are writing. If you want to reach us, whether about a trip or anything else, you can use the Contact page, or the email address or telephone number shown on every page of the site, and we will get back to you.
Visiting the website
You are welcome to browse the site and look at our trips and services without telling us anything about yourself. We work on the site continuously, and we may use software and other tools to collect information about how visitors browse it. We use that information to improve the site and to reach the people it is meant for.
Collecting and holding personal information
Information relating to customers of the site is used only for the company’s own lawful purposes, which include improving our service and the website itself. We keep that information confidential and handle it as the law requires. Customer information is collected and held for the period the company sets.
Disclosing personal information
We do not pass on or sell your personal information to anyone outside the company for unauthorised use. We will not disclose your personal information to any other organisation except where:
- you have asked us to and authorised the site to act;
- passing the information on is necessary to complete a transaction you have started;
- disclosure is permitted or required by law — for example, the site may be asked to disclose customer information under a court order or by another body with legal authority. In that case we will always contact you in advance.
The site may work with outside providers to build and maintain the company’s e-commerce systems and to supply resources or services on the company’s behalf. Any third party working for the company, or acting in its name, must also agree to keep customer information confidential and is bound by the applicable law. Whenever the site engages another organisation to support its services, that organisation must meet the company’s confidentiality standards as well.
How we protect your information
We take all reasonable steps — physical, administrative and technical — to help protect the personal information we handle from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We keep your personal information, and require our providers to keep it, only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, and in line with all relevant laws and legal requirements.
We recommend that you never share your password with anyone. Our staff will not ask for your password by calling you or by sending an email you did not ask for or agree to. If you share a computer with other people, you should not store your login details (such as your user ID and password) on that shared machine.
Updating or changing your personal information
You can update or change your personal information at any time by contacting us through the LINE Official Account or by email.
The security of your personal information
The company confirms that all information held is stored securely. We protect your personal information by:
- limiting access to personal information;
- arranging for your personal information to be securely destroyed once it is no longer needed for legal or business purposes.
If you have reason to believe that your privacy has been breached by the website, please contact us at the email address shown on the site.
